DC Iron Case Study
DC Iron is a UK family-run business of wrought iron and handrail components with over 20 years of history. The online shop was launched in 2007 and became the first in the industry. Since then it has undergone many changes as well as the business itself.
Clients goal
The client came to us with a request to move DC Iron from Magento 2 CMS to Shopify platform. Following that, the webshop also needed to customize a theme, data migration, and some applications to be added. The owner also wanted to do some changes on the back end, increase the store's speed, optimize it with a few improvements, and add a few features.
Our approach
Following the client’s goals, the SaM team of Shopify devs helped the client to move the online shop from Magento to Shopify as the main requirement. We also did a redesign, migrated all customers’ and orders information, added applications, and customized the checkout and the theme. We followed all the necessary steps to make the site more user-friendly.
